PAYMENT METHODS

Through Authorize.net, we can offer our current and future members a choice by accepting various forms of payment, including secure online payment buttons, invoices by way of email, and a phone payment option. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover as payment types.

Important Note: Membership applications and transcript-diploma services are processed once payment is received. Services provided on short notice will require a secure online payment. For members experiencing financial restrictions, don't hesitate to get in touch with the office for assistance.

Check by Mail (U.S. Postal Services)

Please make your check payable to Palmetto Independent Educators and include membership fee, transcript service, or diploma kit in the notes section. Membership applications, transcript service, and diploma kits are processed once payment is received. Secure Online Payment

From our Payment Options and Refund Policy web page, select the $60 payment button for new members or the $50 payment button for existing members.

Selecting the payment button redirects you to an Authorize.Net secure checkout event. From there, you will enter a security code that helps protect websites from spam and abuse.

If you cannot make the code, close the window and select the payment button again to generate a different code. You can repeat this step as many times as necessary. Once you can enter the code, you will select the continue button at the bottom of the window.

Selecting continue redirects you to the Authorize.Net payment gateway. The configuration for the gateway is as follows.

Gateway Configuration: You will need to enter your card number without spaces or dashes and your card's expiration date. Next, you will need to enter the first and last name of the cardholder, followed by the correct address associated with the card.

Failure to enter the correct information will result in the card being rejected.

You may enter an email address and phone number of choice. We recommend using the email address and phone number listed in your application request so that we can associate the payment with your application request.

Invoice by Email

In short, we can create an invoice and email it to a member to provide them with a convenient way to pay for services.

Once the email is received, the payee can select the "VIEW AND PAY INVOICE" button. Selecting the "VIEW AND PAY INVOICE" button takes the payee to an Authorize.Net secure Authorize.Net web page to complete the payment process.

From there, you can view and print the invoice details. Selecting the "Next – Payment Info" button at the bottom of the invoice takes the payee to the final payment checkout page, where they will enter their card details.

Phone Payment Option

The phone payment option requires using a virtual terminal that allows us to manually submit credit card transactions to the payment gateway through the Merchant Interface. This process can only occur over the phone with a payee's approval and participation for every transaction. The office of PIE does not collect or store your sensitive payment information. This form of payment is useful to payees unable to receive invoices by email.
